Miskolc Roma Ask Hungary's PM Orbán For Help
Miskolc Roma are staging daily protests and urging Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to intervene to prevent their eviction from a run-down district of the city

“There is a growing possibility that the social problem will appear to be an ethnic conflict, and create a difficult situation”, the Roma Press Centre said in a statement.

Everyone needs to work together to preserve social peace, the statement added.

The Roma are asking Orbán to designate a government commissioner to assess the problems, sum up the integration failure and a propose new frameworks for co-existence.
