See What Happened @ 'Green Social' Event In Budapest
You don’t have to be a geek to be green, just pop along to a Green Social event. A casual, informal, monthly gathering that brings together those who are interested in the environment, green living and sustainability. This event keeps you up-to-date with what is going on green-wise.

It is held at a different venue each month to network, share ideas, learn from each other and have a few drinks. People come from a variety of backgrounds: from environmental organizations, private businesses, non-profits, sole traders and many more.

This month’s event took place at the HQ Cafe in downtown Budapest, a social hub for the tech & startup community set up by geeks for geeks. The venue was fitting, as it has just announced its commitment to increase awareness of environmental issues by recently joining the ‘GREENWILL’ initiative.

And one last thought: "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”. (Robert Swan) I feel that these events are not going to let us wait for that and rightly so.
