Utility Bills Backlog In Hungary Shrinks By 25%
Hungarian households had Ft 95 billion of unpaid energy bills in September, 25% less than one year ago, due to the utility price cuts, according to Development Minister Miklós Seszták.

In a written response to Socialist MP Bertalan Tóth, he said bills more than 30 days due amount to a total of Ft 75 billion, compared with Ft 90 billion at this time last year.

The figures may vary due to record-keeping differences among utility providers, he added.

Overall, 1 million households were behind on payments of gas, electricity and heating bills, down from 1.4 million in September of last year.
