The two great and prestigious seats of musical learning, the Franz Liszt Music Hochschule in Weimar and the Ferenc Liszt Acadmy of Music in Budapest not only share the name of the great composer whose name they honour but also their love of jazz.
The jazz faculties of these two institutes started their cooperation with a highly successful workshop back in 2003 and this concert is a continuation of their artistic friendship.
The Weimar school has numerous pupils from all over the world and this promises to be a great meeting of musical minds between highly talented youngsters coming from different cultures.
The BJC is in the 13th district at Hollán Ernő utca 7
There is no compulsion to eat or drink but there is a well stocked bar with also cocktails made to order at non-extortionate prices. For food you’ll have to resort to a staple diet of sandwiches, crisps and nuts.
