Hungary’s Expo Pavilion On Show In Budapest
The Hungarian pavilion prepared for the 2015 World Expo in Milan was presented at Budapest’s Italian Institute on Monday. Géza Szőcs, the ministry commissioner in charge of the pavilion, said the concept was themed around the importance of water and healthy food.

The motto “from the purest source” calls attention to these factors, he said. The government earmarked 4.7 billion forints (EUR 15.46m) for the pavilion, it said earlier.

The composition is made up of an “ark of life” with ritual drums of the ancient Magyars at each end. It will be made mostly of natural and renewable materials such as wood or cellulose.

Expo2015 will open its doors on May 1 and is expected to draw 20 million visitors.
