See What Happened @ New Belarus Embassy Opening In Budapest
As the bright sun shone down, the new and elegant building of the Embassy of Belarus was officially opened in Budapest on 24th April. It was greeted by the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alena Kupchyna and the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, as well as, ambassadors of the OSCE states and representatives from the Hungarian media.

In her speech the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs said: “It is very important for Belarus to maintain sincere and open relations with Hungary — a state, which is indeed a friend of our country.”

Whilst in Budapest, she is also expected to meet with the co-chairman of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Laszlo Szabo.

And with the opening complete, this was a good start to a high level of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Hungary, friendly relations and willingness of both countries to enjoy an equal and mutually beneficial discussion.
