“Moustache King” Elected At Festival On Hungary's Great Plain
The southern town of Kiskunfélegyháza hosted the region’s seventh Moustache Festival this past weekend, the local news website Baon.hu reported.

The festival’s moustache competition saw sixty moustached or bearded men compete in several categories, such as moustache and beard, natural and Hungarian-style moustache.

The organisers aim is to restore the popularity of the moustache in Hungary “because Hungarians have been a moustache-wearing people for centuries. Hungarians were also thought of as a moustached people in international public opinion, organiser László Gulyás explained.

Seeing pictures taken of the contestants, the jury surely had a hard task choosing the “Moustache King” of this year’s festival!
