Le Meridien Budapest To Become Ritz-Carlton
Le Meridien hotel in downtown Budapest will be taken over by the Ritz-Carlton group next year, Turizmus Online reported. The change was announced at the Arab Tourism Fair in Dubai, and was confirmed by Simone Dulies, CEO of the Budapest hotel.

Dubai’s Al Habtoor group purchased the 192-room hotel in May of 2012 from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, owner of the Le Meridien name.

Starwood promised a smooth transfer to the hotel’s staff, guests and clients.

The hotel, in what was originally the Adria Palace building, will be comprehensively renovated in the first half of 2016.
