Hungary Internet Subscriptions Up 12 % In Q1 - KSH
The number of internet subscriptions rose by 12% from a year earlier to 7.4 million in the first quarter of 2015, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on its website. More than 93% of the subscriptions are provided by seven service providers, KSH said.

Private subscriptions accounted for 81% of the total number during the period, with business subscriptions making up the remainder, reflecting a 2-percentage-point shift towards individual subscriptions.

Wireless internet services, including mobile internet services, grew by an annual 16% in the first quarter.

Mobile internet subscriptions accounted for 65% of the total. KSH said net revenue from internet services rose by 6.2% from a year earlier to almost 44 billion forints (EUR 141m) in the first quarter.
