Start The Summer With Style! – WAMP At Erzsébet Square, 14 June
Finally summer is here, and WAMP celebrates the first design fair of the hottest season again with full house, more than hundred designers, brand new collections and with sparkling sunshine. Vadjutka is preparing with a collection specifically for the summer, her cute rings decorated with paddling fishes and spurting whales are absolutely the season’s top choices. You also have to check out the jewellery of WonderLAB concept store, their member designer, Zosha Works will bring embroidered silver jewels. The collection called Mountains evokes the contours of mountain chains and it is indeed a great match both with classy and eccentric outfits.

Many of you will start their holiday soon. For them we recommend the exquisite leather gripsacks of Pankotai, the super comfortable Toms shoes, which this time will be presented at the fair by ArtonMe, and the sporty, cosy outfits of MZF, that are perfect choices both for sightseeing and for outing.

For beachgoers we recommend the environmental friendly, waterproof lunchboxes, sandwich containers and other accessories of Kivibag, which are beyond being practical are also decorated with cool patterns. With the swimming caps of Color Sport you can catch a lot of attention at the poolside, as these are made in limited series, and were designed in a cooperation with the designer of S*ck Right!, Viki Csepleő.

Many of you surely will have visitors from abroad at the summer. The thematic notebooks of Kis Hungarikum Határozó, which are available in more languages introduce many local specialities, and they will surely make your visitors smile.

In June Design Aid will be the guest of WAMP. The trust has recently organized a charity auction for Igazgyöngy Alapítvány, which offered the works of Hungarian designers for bid. This Sunday you can buy the products which remained after the auction and also those works which were created for the SZUNO project of the foundation.

The project which embraces more generations and furthers integration is an art initiative with the aim to improve the life of families living in deprived conditions through the sale of embroidered products that are based on child drawings – bags, purses, cushions, wall paints, blankets and cute artistic pieces evoking children art.

The designer of the month is Judit Takács

The leather designer has already created numerous collections. Her new work includes must have shoppers for everyday wear, classy pieces suitable also for work, clutches for evening occasions, and even shoes and some accessories. Her vision is that bags are future proof accessories which go beyond seasons, and indeed her models always remain fresh and do not going out of style.

Beyond the permanent pieces she regularly comes out with temporary collections. Fluorescence nametags, zips, and sieve printing lighting in sea blue, neon green or orange shades in the dark make her latest summer collection special. The new pieces debut at WAMP this Sunday.
