For a sumptuous Sunday afternoon, with a backdrop of amazing views over Budapest’s riverside encompassing the Chain Bridge and Royal Palace, there aren’t too many places on the banks of the Danube where you can enjoy such a fabulous experience. With a new chef and greatly enhanced range of dishes, the InterContinental Hotel's restaurant is fast becoming the first choice for brunch in Budapest.

Refined surroundings in the deluxe eatery offer a lavish buffet brunch each week. It creates a special feeling of having a wonderful array of fine restaurants at your fingertips, to pick and choose between at your leisure.

It's like taking a gastro adventure to exotic culinary islands. In addition to the classic Hungarian items, there are vegetarian and healthy food options sitting alongside gorgeous sushi and live cooking stations, along with amazing cheese and desert presentations, to satisfy everyone’s taste.

Interesting novelties presented by new executive chef Gergő Gullner include unique Hungarian "morning-after" dishes, prepared for guests who might have ''tripped the light fantastic'' the night before, and so are maybe not feeling their very best on Sunday morning. This brunch will have everyone feeling fanstastic afterwards, if perhaps a little full, or lets say very satisfied.

Along with its delectable selection of dishes, the atmosphere at the Corso Restaurant is complemented by live music, plus an amusing corner fo the kids, making this brunch a popular port of call for families, couples, and small groups alike.

The hotel staff speak many languages - including German, English, French, Italian, and Hungarian of course - so everyone can really feel at home, just how a Sunday afternoon should feel.

No wonder the hotel is hot on the list of World Travel award winners, not to mention being the holder of several Best of Budapest Awards, including one for the Best Brunch in Budapest.
