Vettel Takes Victory In Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel claimed victory in the 30th Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix, round 10 of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship. The four-time German world champion, who dedicated his victory to the late Jules Bianchi, took his second victory of the season and the 41st of his career. This was Ferrari’s first win at the Hungaroring since Michael Schumacher’s dominant performance in 2004. Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat of Russia finished in second ahead of Australian team mate Daniel Ricciardo.

Rookie Max Verstappen finished in a career-best fourth place, while McLaren’s Fernando Alonso completed the top five. It was the first time this season that both McLarens finished in the points, with the British Jenson Button finishing in ninth. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton of Britain came home in sixth, with team mate and title rival Nico Rosberg of Germany finishing in eighth in a dismal showing for Mercedes.

Frenchman Romain Grosjean finished in seventh place, with Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson taking the last point in tenth. A minute of silence was held for Jules Bianchi before the start of the race.

Drivers formed a ring and placed their helmets on the ground, with Bianchi’s helmet being placed in the middle.

The memorial session was attended by the French driver’s family. Bianchi died last week from injuries sustained in a crash at last year’s Japanese Grand Prix in October.
