1st 'Cholent Festival' In Budapest, 30 August

This special kosher gastronomy festival is organized by the Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation (EMIH). Organisers say this 'colossal event', called Sóletfesztivál in Hungarian, is going to be held on Kazinczy Street in the heart of the Jewish area, where the best known Jewish dish is going to take center stage.
The programs of the festival, which is organized for the first time this year, will apparently offer more than just culinary pleasures, as the organizers have prepared cultural programs, concerts, and a fair.
