Refugees Proceed Through Hungarian Border At Beremend
Croatian authorities are transporting refugees in buses and trains to the Hungarian border, Népszabadság writes in a report from Beremend, where buses arrived in convoys yesterday. Hungarian authorities take the arrivals to buses which leave immediately for nearby Magyarbóly, where they are to be registered before being placed on trains to Austria.

National Police said they launched proceedings against 5,300 illegal immigrants on Monday and another 2,000 by 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Only 178 migrants arrived from the direction of Serbia on Monday.

Police data show that 230,000 refugees who arrived across the green frontier this year were caught and taken to camps.

Practically all of them have left the country. Népszabadság says.

Authorities had registered 173,000 people as of September 21, indicating that nearly 60,000 were probably not registered, the newspaper adds.

Criminal proceedings have been launched against 164 people since illegal border entry was criminalised on September 15.

Health undersecretary Attila Beneda said more than Ft 200 million has been spent on health care for migrants.
