The value of online retail sales was more than 16% higher, year-on-year, in the first half, according to an estimate by economics institute GKI and online price comparison site Árukeresõ. More dramatically, online sales grew by about a third from the first quarter to the second, partly due to the restrictions on Sunday shopping, GKI added. In the second quarter, online retailers had a more positive outlook than in the first quarter.
