UNICEF @ Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon, 13 September
"At UNICEF, we believe that sport has the power to change children’s lives and we are working to ensure that every child has the right to play. By taking part in sport, children learn to develop self-confidence, motivate themselves and lead active lifestyles.

We also use sport as a tool to shine a spotlight on the issue of children’s rights and to help raise valuable donations for our work with children.

In 2015, sport became big news for UNICEF. Amongst others, we have already had support from the Hungary men's national water polo team who swam with us at the Balaton Cross Swimming and with the help of our partnerships with famous Hungarian sport legends, Zsolt Erdélyi, Attila Katus and István Gergely Team UNICEF is bigger than ever.

Team UNICEF is a community of fans, players and organisations who love sport and want to make a lasting difference to the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.
