Budapest Airport Departures Resume
After several hours of halted service due to an IT infrastructure failure this morning, departures at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport have resumed and the airportʼs operation “is getting back to normal” as passenger and baggage check-ins have been restored, operator Budapest Airport announced on its Facebook page at 8:38 this morning.

The operator thanked passengers for their understanding, saying that “Budapest Airport appreciates the patience and cooperation of passengers.”

An update at 06:41 am revealed that the airport was “still working on troubleshooting”, while masses of passengers continued to line up at check-in desks as check-in services had also been halted.
