Hundreds Of Bells To Keep Children Smile At Mupa Budapest
Once again Müpa Budapest is preparing for the Christmas season with a unique installation: in cooperation with UNICEF this year we will hang thousands of little bells on the Danube-side terrace of the building and let the wind use them as an instrument. Since its opening, Müpa Budapest has devoted extraordinary attention to children, and with its family and youth programmes it has offered many joyful experiences to them over the years.

With this event jointly organised with UNICEF, Müpa Budapest wishes to help the children in need have a really Merry Christmas, just like everyone else. In order to provide children with a carefree childhood full of giggles, some help is needed: vaccines, medicine, proper nutrition, clean drinking water or a timely treatment of infections.

Each bell symbolizes the giggle of a child. Those visiting Müpa Budapest can also support this worthy cause: with a donation of HUF 500 offered for a UNICEF bell they can contribute to a full-day nutrition of a malnourished child.

The installation can be visited from 12 December until Epiphany (6 January), on the terrace of Müpa Budapest.

Our partner in building the installation was Bio Textima Hálószoba Manufaktúra (Bio Textima Bedroom Manufacturer)
