Former Liszt Ferenc Terminal In Budapest Could Be Transformed Into Aviation Exhibition
Liszt Ferenc International Airport’s Terminal 1, a landmark building that the airport stopped using after national carrier Malév was grounded in 2012, could be turned into an interactive exhibition showcasing aviation history, daily Magyar Hírlap reported.

Gábor Somogyi-Tóth, who runs Aeropark, an outdoor aviation museum on the edge of Terminal 2, wants to move the old Malév aircraft on display there to Terminal 1 and add simulators, multimedia and a gift shop to the mix.

He conceded that realising the plan would cost a lot of money, but added that talks on the exhibition are underway with government representatives.
