Hungary To Host Conference On CoE Children’s Rights Strategy In May
Budapest will host a conference on the Council of Europe’s new children’s rights strategy on May 10, the Hungarian state secretary for youth affairs said on Thursday, after talks in Strasbourg. Katalin Novak told MTI that she had held talks with CoE deputy secretarygeneral Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni and director-general for democracy Snezana Samardzic-Markovic on Tuesday.

The two officials thanked Hungary for hosting one of the CoE’s European Youth Centres in Budapest since 1995 and the Hungarian government for providing annual funding for the facility, Novak said.

The CoE’s children rights strategy will be presented in Sofia in April.
