"Internation Ballet", Italian Institute of Culture, 23 May
InternationBALLET is a new project that intends to bring together people from different walks of life through dance and music. Twelve dancers from the Hungarian State Opera will perform a variety of new and existing works along with some live music.

There will be many hungarian premiers and one world premiere  presented on the evening of the 23rd of May in the  eautiful setting  of "Sala Verdi" at the Italian Institute of Culture right next to the National Muzeum at Kalvin Ter.

Modern themes of life will be presented through classical dance  including the ballets I.F.E.L and Anthemoessa (original  music: Chritstian Calcatelli and choreography: Mark Biocca),  both the result of a collaboration of Italian artists living abroad.

The purity and technicality of classical ballet are kept but delivered  with innovative styles by the artists and choreographers.

Six of the dancers performing are originally from all different regions  of Italy and the other six are from Hungary, Russia, UK, Ukraine,  Croatia and Japan.

The aim of this preview in Budapest is to raise awareness and funds  for the group to  perform in Italy this summer both at "Teatro Magnolie of Abano Terme" (Padova) on July 6th and then in Rome between the 8th and 10th of July.

The dancers will also be giving a workshop to local students in both  italian cities following the performance. To sponsor  the project and find out more about the evening follow us on  Facebook and check out the campaign on Indiegogo.com!
