Business Chamber Head Outlines Plans For Improvements

The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) aims to improve conditions for the capitalʼs businesses, heighten the public profile of the chamberʼs work, make the body more customer-friendly and strengthen the services it offers members, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
BKIK aims to represent membersʼ interests among decision-makers at city and country level through more effective lobbying, BKIKʼs new Chairman Zoltan Kiss told MTI.
BKIK has about 135,000 registered members and 4,000 “voluntary” members. Registration of businesses with the local chamber is mandatory in Hungary.
