Hungarian Swimmer Hosszú Wins Second Gold Medal
Katinka Hosszú of Hungary won her second gold medal at the European swimming championships in London on Tuesday, emerging victorious in the 200-metre backstroke event. Fellow Hungarian Kata Burián was placed fourth.

Two-time world and 12-time European champion László Cseh won the silver medal in the 50-metre butterfly behind Andry Govorov of Ukraine and just ahead of Britain’s Benjamin Proud.

Cseh had cancelled his appearance in the semi-final of the 200-metre medley earlier in the day to focus on the butterfly event.

The Hungarian 4x100 metre mixed relay team won the bronze medal, finishing second behind Great Britain and Italy.

The Hungarian team consists of Gábor Balog, Gábor Financsek, Evelyn Verrasztó and Zsuzsanna Jakabos.
