Nézőpont: Nearly Four- Fifths Of Hungarians Reject Migrant Quota
Nearly four-fifth of Hungarians reject the "forced settlement of migrants", according to a recent survey by Nézőpont prepared for the weekly Heti Válasz. Meanwhile, the poll also shows that the standing of political parties stagnated in May compared to April.

The date of a planned referendum on the migrant quota has not been set so turnout cannot be precisely projected, but it is estimated that around 62% of people will participate, Nézőpont said.

The survey, based on 1,000 phone interviews with a representative sample of voting-age adults in May, showed that 77% of Hungarians reject “forced settlement”.

The survey also covered party support in May, showing that among all voters, ruling Fidesz Christian Democrats had 30% support, radical nationalist Jobbik 12%, opposition Socialists 9%, DK 5%, LMP 3%, Együtt 2% and the PM party 1%.
