LMP Calls For More Greenery In Budapest
The opposition LMP party has called on the government to create more parks in Budapest rather than “destroy the City Park”. LMP’s municipal representative Antal Csárdi said in a statement that the 250 billion forints (EUR 794m) assigned to build a museum complex under the Liget scheme would be enough to rehabilitate several brownfield sites.

Csárdi noted that park developments would not only contribute to a healthier environment but would also result in higher property prices in neighbouring areas.
