Shorter National Anthem For Olympics
A “new” 90-second version of the Himnusz, the national anthem, could be premiered when Hungarian athletes win their first gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The new version was orchestrated by the MÁV Symphony Orchestra in the spring of 2013 at the request of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, in line with International Olympic Committee regulations.

Most versions of the anthem run for two minutes or longer.
