The only nationwide commercial radio station Class FM has had an audience of 2.6 million on average in the period between April and July, market researcher TNS Hoffmann-Mediamaster found in the age group over 15.

It is the leading market radio station, followed by Music FM with an audience of nearly 800,000, Sláger FM with 429,000, Info Rádió with 122,000, Lánchíd Rádió with 96,000, Jazzy with 78,000 and Klasszik with 42,000.

Despite its success, the licence of Class FM expires in November and has not been extended, Népszabadság underlines.
