Quaestor “Insider” List Published
Jobbik-linked television channel N1 has published a list of clients who withdrew their funds from suspicious brokerage Quaestor shortly before it collapsed on March 10, 2015. It shows that 333 clients and companies withdrew a total of Ft 6.5 billion on March 9.

State-owned SME export promotion agency Magyar Nemzeti Kereskedõház, controlled by the Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry, took out Ft 3.8 billion, claiming to be responding to market developments.

The list gives the names of those who withdrew at least Ft 10 million on the last day.

It includes Gábor Richárd Bolya, a former driver at the Prosecutor General’s Office, who took out Ft 200 million.

Csaba Mátéfalvy, a former water polo player married to Quaestor spokeswoman Gyöngyi Bende, took out Ft 15 million.

Bende told N1 that she was not aware of the coming collapse but four of the eleven Quaestor executives were.
