Durables Lead Black Friday Sales
Based on reports from retailers, the usual pattern was followed on the Black Friday this year, as sales of consumer durables dominated.

According to a survey by the NRC marketing institute for appliance retail chain Media Markt, consumers planned to spend Ft 27,000 on average.

Of those, 52% intended to buy goods for themselves, rather than as gifts for others.

People purchasing goods online must understand that when they click on a button then others may do so, thus it can occur that stocks run out quickly, Retail Association leader György Vámos told M1 television.

Most complaints concerning Black Friday were that stocks of the cheapest products ran out too quickly.
