Salary Gender Gap Highest In Hungary
The difference in the salaries paid to men and women in senior posts is higher in Hungary than in any other EU country, Eurostat announced on Monday.

According to the study, male executives earn 33.7% more than female executives in the same position.

A similar trend is seen in Italy, where the wage difference is 33.5%.

The Eurostat calculations are based on 2014 data.

They found that Hungary is sixth overall in terms of women in senior positions as 41% of such posts are held by women, above the EU average of 35%.
