Owing to ageing in new barrique barrels, the gentle fruity acids compose perfect harmony with the elegance of the vanilla and those of the smoky aromas. When drinking, it tastes dry and rich with savoury acids and creamy body.

Polgar Cuvée is an elegant colour red wine, which smells like blackberry and cranberry, and provides soft tannings while ageing. It was born from the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc harvested in October 2011. The ageing in new barrels provides its pleasantly smoky aroma blending with chocolate and cinnamon ones to emphasize its fine fruity flavour. This wine boasts with several awards from different contests.

Polgar Winery is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in the Villany Region. Zoltan Polgar produced his first wine as early as 1976, which means that 2016 produced the 40th vintage of the winery. Zoltan was awarded the „Winemaker of the Year” prize in 1996. In addition, his wines have been widely awarded both nationally and internationally.
