Budapest Coffee Festival, 6 – 7 May
The first Budapest Coffee Festival, held at the Museum of Applied Arts, aims to reflect the recent surge in interest and development of the local and international coffee industry. Organisers say, "We want to create an opportunity to grant a platform for professionals dedicated to quality coffee and everybody interested in coffee culture to get closer to each other in a fantastic atmosphere."

Event organisers continue, "At the festival guests can meet with the stars of the world of coffee, they can check out their tricks so they can make coffee more exciting even at home.

Visitors can also follow the finals of the 2017 Hungarian 'Barista, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters' championships, so they can get to know first-hand all the competitors who will represent Hungary at the Budapest and Seoul world championship."
