English Stand Up Comedy, Brody Studios, 14 June
Give your laughing gear a workout with a healthy dose of English humour. This time our host will be Nigel Williams and you'll see on stage, international comedians, Alan Francis and Neil McFarlane.

Nigel Williams Belgium’s ‘No punches held, no holds barred’ comedian. If you like your comedy a bit rough around the edges, you’ll love Nigel Williams. Nigel’s act is full of energy and healthy misanthropic rage, with improvisation and audience participation guaranteed. Nigel’s act has been described as “A long distance sprint of laughs with no final destination”.

Alan Francis, after winning the Channel 4 'So you Think You’re Funny Competition' at the 1991 Edinburgh Festival, has been a regular on the UK and International Comedy Circuit performing his stand-up act on TV a number of times. He has also appeared on telly as a comic performer.

Neil McFarlane started his comedy career in Scotland fifteen years ago, where he remains a regular act at the highly-regarded Stand Up Comedy Clubs in Glasgow & Edinburgh. He now lives in London, performing in locations across the length and breadth of the British Isles, and attracting widespread concern.
