Heat Alert: Extreme Heat Continues In Hungary
The National Meteorology Service (OMSZ) has issued a first grade alert for the whole territory of Hungary due to the extreme heat apart from four counties in the Northeast.

Daily temperature can be expected above 25 °C, while maximum temperature can reach 34 °C, according to OMSZ.

The weather service forecasts several hours of sunshine, and light clouds in the afternoon.

Showers and possibly thundershowers are expected in the northeast and near the western borders.

Southerly winds will pick up in the northwest.

The first grade alert is issued for Budapest and the following counties:

Pest, Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád, Fejér, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom, Somogy, Tolna, Vas, Veszprém and Zala.

The heat is expected to continue on Wednesday as well, when the temperature can reach even 37 °C.
