New Major Change Regarding Running Races

Not more than three running races entailing major traffic restrictions may be held in Budapest in any year, according to an amended decree submitted by deputy mayor Alexandra Szalay-Bobrovniczky to the city council.
A decree in force since 2012 made possible the arrangement of up to six running races a year.
The number of second-class and other category races will not change. Nine such races are scheduled.
