See What Happened @ Dreher Beer Festival
If you have never partied in a beer factory, the Dreher Festival is one to get your teeth into. It’s like a pilgrimage and this year it was no different. The crowds flocked in regardless of the less-than-perfect weather to enjoy a great range of beers, live music and a real Hungarian festival experience.

This is usually the weekend to spend your day together with friends, enjoying fine beer and good food. The Dreher Brewery is where you can take a peak behind the walls of the brewery and enjoy your very own magical mystery tour with some liquid refreshment of course.

This year you could taste several types of beer, such as the latest tanks with the “seasoned” Dreher Mozaik Komlós, which has recently launched a fruity aroma with Mosaic hops. But you could also enjoy the slightly yeasty Dreher Szűretretlen (unfiltered) and the unique floral aroma of the elderflower Dreher Floralt (hot beer). These tank beers will also be available to the public in the future.

Last but not least, what’s also great about this 160-year old beer factory is that it is becoming a real party place. And after you have had a fab time and want to get home, there is a complimentary coach service to the metro, which just finishes the day off nicely. I’ll be back next year as well!
