Párisi Udvar Hotel Opening Delayed
Due to unforeseen construction issues, the opening of the Párisi Udvar Hotel in Ferenciek tere in Budapest’s Fifth District is suffering a five-month delay, hotel director Tamás Fazekas told the media.

Unexpectedly, a 1,400m2 ceiling had to be replaced, resulting in extra costs totalling Ft 700 million, he said.

The five-star hotel of The Unbound Collection by the Hyatt chain will open in the autumn of 2018.

The hotel in Budapest will be the second one of the chain in Europe after the Hotel Louvre in Paris.

The new Budapest hotel, which will boast 110 rooms and 18 suites, will be operated by Mellow Mood Hotels.
