PM’s Office Grants EUR 74 m For Rural Tourism Development
The Prime Minister’s Office is financing the development of rural tourism with 23 billion forint (EUR 74m) made available to 550 businesses, the office said.

The winners of tenders can use the money to build and develop hotels and lodgings in rural areas as well as non-agricultural products, services and technologies, the statement said.

Micro businesses in rural areas can apply for up to 50 million forints of non-refundable support each, it added.

So far this year, the Prime Minister’s Office has allocated a total of 89 billion forints for rural development, and decisions have been made concerning 93 percent of the government’s rural development scheme worth 1,200 billion forints, the office said.
