Great concerts, public favorites, children's shows, alternative and contemporary performances, exhibitions, contests for kids, baking of community charity Sekler Cakes („Kürtős Adventure”), craft fair and craft demonstrations, hungaricum tents - all that is needed for a true traditional family event.

From the organizers:

These sweet delights will be the main attraction of this traditional event in the heart of Budapest. Go to taste various types and sizes of this special kind of 'smoky, crunchy cake' which will be presented in a variety of flavours and with creative toppings.

This year’s festival’s slogan: Sekler Cake= Sekler Cake Adventure

In the Children's Park we summon the idyllic world of sweet childhood when we cooked together with our grandmother at home in the kitchen, here you will find the „Do It Yourself!” Sekler Cake baking house, but there will be interactive games as well.

The Festival’s traditional element is the Charcoal Baked Food Yard, which this year is being planned in an expanded form, and in a larger place. Here will be the small stage, where street music and barbecue shows will change each other.

Saturday’s big attraction will be the Great Group Bake-Off, and this year we are inviting the joining teams for a greater adventure, so in the 6th Sekler Cake Festival this program will be renamed to „Sekler Cake Adventure”.

More programs coming up soon.
