Young Socialists To Start Consultation On Emigration Of Youth
Societas, the youth arm of the opposition Socialist party, announced that it would launch an online consultation on the emigration of youth in September.

“With 600,000 young people gone, Hungary has plunged into an emigration crisis,” Societas leader Sándor Torzsa said. “This is a loss for both Hungary and the nation,” he added.

The young Socialists want to gauge the situation of those thinking about emigrating and ask them what assistance could change their minds about leaving the country, he said.

Torzsa called on MP László Böröcz, the leader of Fidelitas, the youth arm of ruling Fidesz, to initiate the draft of a strategy for handling the “emigration crisis” and the appointment of a government commissioner in charge of the issue.
