Future Law Conference, Bank Center, 27 September
Law firm Dentons will be sponsoring a "Future Law" conference taking place on September 27 in Budapest, with the event aiming to provide a global view on the possible responses of legal industry to technological challenges, hosting leading experts in the field.

The conference is organized by Wolters Kluwer in cooperation with Dentons and Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.

According to the organizers, law, as a means of regulating social relations, must respond to the challenges of new technologies (Artificial intelligence, robots, self-driving cars, algorithms, IoT), with law fulfilling its social purpose only if it can form a bridge between various interests.

The conference will also look at how this challenge can be addressed by regulating technology, namely overcoming the basic human fear of technologies, and ensuring progress while remembering that technology ultimately serves people.

For law, the key to this must be a responsible approach, guided by the desire for new knowledge, according to a press release. Registration is possible via Wolters Kluwerʼs website.

Date and time: 27 September, 9 am - 5 pm

Venue:
Bank Center
1054 Budapest, Szabadság tér 7.
