GKI Raises Hungary’s 2019 GDP Growth Forecast To 3.4%
Economic research institute GKI has raised its projection for this year’s GDP growth to 3.4% from 3.2% in a forecast released in December.

GKI expects EU transfers to continue to grow in 2019, but puts investment growth at only around 5%. Hungary’s government projects the economy will grow 3.9% this year, the latest forecast by the finance ministry shows.
