LG Electronics Hungary Appoints New Chief
Hyeong Tae Kim takes over the position at the helm of LG Electronics Hungary from Bumseop Lee, who will continue as the president of the Korean firmʼs British subsidiary, according to a press release.

As LG Electronicsʼ Hungarian subsidiary acts as a regional center, the new head will also be responsible for the coordinated commercial activity of ten further countries in the SEE region: Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Hyeong Tae Kim started working at LG in 1992, first gathering experience on the Asian market before moving on to the North American region, where he worked for 20 years. In the U.S., he was responsible for the market introduction of the innovative OLED TVs as the product director of LGʼs entertainment electronics segment. Before coming to Hungary, he coordinated the companyʼs Czech and Slovak operations as regional managing director.

"I am very glad that I can continue working at LG as the head of such a diverse region," said Kim. "All of the SEE markets have a different past and different culture, therefore it is an exciting task to introduce LGʼs newest premium products in such a diverse market.

As a pioneering company, we place great emphasis on applying AI, in any of our household and entertainment electronics, mobile communications, air conditioning, or IT solutions branches. I believe that we are creating real value with continuous innovation for our customers in the region and beyond."
