It is not an exaggeration to say that Slovak-Hungarian relations are the best they have ever been, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told a joint press conference with Slovak counterpart Robert Fico in Bratislava.
The government has decided to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), the minister heading the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office announced today.
Under Viktor Orban's leadership, Hungary has done "remarkable things for Israel and the Jewish people", Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart in Budapest on Thursday, praising Hungary's withdrawal from the International Criminal Court in particular.
The European parliamentary plenary on Wednesday, which Prime Minister Viktor Orban attended, was "the height of hypocrisy" on the part of the left-liberal majority, and EC President Ursula von der Leyen had held a campaign speech against Hungary, an EU member state, an MEP of ruling Fidesz said in Strasbourg.
