Evacuations Ahead On 10 April After Bombs Found On Buda Side
The discovery of several World War II explosive devices during construction on the Koltai Jenő Sports Centre in Buda has necessitated the evacuation of a wide area around Healea út, Alkotás utca and the MOM Park shopping mall next week.

Hundreds of apartments, as well as surrounding office buildings, hotels and catering units, will have to be evacuated on April 10.

Local residents must evacuate their homes by 8 a.m. on that date and can return in the late afternoon hours.

Those who have nowhere to go can go to the MOM Cultural Centre as it will function as a place of reception.

Traffic restrictions are also expected to be imposed temporarily.
