’Way Of Ink’ Traditional Oriental Paintings In Budapest
Seen until 7 June at the National Library of Foreign Literature, Budapest. Award-winning artist Anna Pantsireva announced today that her work was chosen for a solo art exhibition.

Anna Pantsireva is an international artist who is known for her sumi-e (traditional Japanese painting) and guo hua (traditional Chinese painting) works. She also creates traditional Oriental stone seals and has a long-standing interest in calligraphy.

Her exhibition, titled The Way Of Ink, will showcase a series of illustrations to the Chinese classic philosophy text, Tao Te Ching, as well as her other paintings and seals.

The official opening ceremony is taking place on May 6 at 6pm. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet the artist, see the process of creation of her art and listen to traditional Japanese music performed on koto by a Hungarian musician Tünde Bakos. The opening event commentary will be in English and Hungarian
