Elmű Ends Free E-Car Charging In Budapest
Elmű-Émász has ended free charging of electric cars at its five stations in Budapest from May 28, the electricity distributor announced on Wednesday.

For the first month the fee will be only a symbolic Ft 10 per kWh.

Payments can be made with the bank card registered with the eCharge+ app.

Other stations of the distributor will provide free charging during the test period.

When it ends, the fee at all stations is planned to be Ft 99 per kWh.

This means that charging of the average e-car to drive 180-200km will cost Ft 3,000.
