Hungarians Comfortable With Cash, Says Survey
Some 46% of Hungarians are cash users by habit although they are aware of available electronic payment options, the Association of Electronic Payment Service Providers found in a survey.

Some 30% of Hungarians refuse to use electronic payments because they consider it difficult, and a further 27% believe that it is dangerous.

Another 30% use solutions offered by their banks and 10% avail themselves of payment methods offered by their telecoms service provider.

Two thirds of respondents have internet access at home and use it three hours a day, on average.
