Their aim is to secure the presence of international and national contemporary and independent artist in the local dance scene.

In addition to the main events, the festival puts great emphasis on the so-called OFF programmes (or accompanying events) that show the festival’s community building potential and its role in professional understanding. Therefore from the very beginning various workshops, exhibitions, open discussions and other art forms have been characterizing the L1 Dance Fest.

In total 10 performances, 2 workshops, 2 exhibitions and opening actions, 10 volunteers, 9 countries will be represented with 11 international guests.
