Site Of Euro 1 Billion Plant In Hungary Handed Over To BMW
A parcel of land in Debrecen, in eastern Hungary, on which BMW will build a 1 billion euro plant was handed over to the German carmaker.

Construction of infrastructure at the site has been completed and BMW Group has taken over ownership of the land.

Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics said some 130 billion forints (EUR 388.4m) in state funding had been allocated for upgrading transport infrastructure around the site and an additional 35 billion forints had been earmarked for improvements to the local school system.
